Weight..................:      You must weigh between 100 and 260 pounds.

Minimum Age.......:       10 years old and must weigh at least 100 pounds.

Maximum Age.......:      No limit!  Our oldest rider to date is 93.  Please consider
                                    that all riders must be able to stand comfortably
                                    without assistance for at least 45 minutes.

Minors..................:      Are welcome - but must have a parent or guardian
                                    sign a liability release on behalf of the minor.  An
                                    adult is required to accompany the minor(s) on
                                    the tour.

Riders Per SEGWAY:   We've previously been asked if multiple riders can ride
                                    one SEGWAY.  For the purpose of our tours, the answer is "no",
                                    we have a 1-rider maximum per SEGWAY.

Helmets................:      Required & provided free of charge.  Optionally, you may bring your own
                                    CPSC-approved bicycle or skateboard helmet.

Dress Attire..........:     Please dress the outdoors and the weather conditions.  We recommend wearing
                                    comfortable closed-toe shoes, such as tennis shoes or walking shoes.  High-heels
                                    look great, but are not permitted.  Newport Beach is a coastal city that generally 
                                    has temperatures in the mid-to-high 70's in the summer months. Therefore, during
                                    the summer months of July, August and September, we recommend wearing
                                    shorts, T-shirts, tennis shoes (sneakers), sun screen, and sun glasses.  During
                                    Spring, Fall and Winter please dress for comfort using multiple layers with
                                    long pants, and a light jacket.

Pregnant Ladies...:     Congratulations!  However, since everyone's safety is our utmost concern, pregnant
                                    ladies are not permitted to ride a SEGWAY.

Alcohol & Meds....:      We want everyone to have a great time, which includes being safe.  As such, 
                                    we will refuse service to those we suspect to be under the influence of alcohol, 
                                    any banned substances, or prescription medications that warn against
                                    equipment operation.

Courtesy.............:       Guests riding in a reckless manner, ignoring Tour Ride Coach verbal instructions,
                                    or employing excessive speed will be asked to leave.  We want everyone to have
                                    a great time, so out of respect for our other tour guests, and our neighbors in
                                    Newport Beach, we very much appreciate your understanding of this
                                    company policy.

Over the years, our experienced SEGWAY Rider Coaches have trained over 16,000 people how to successfully ride a SEGWAY Personal Transporter.   As such, no special skills on the part of new riders are required.  All riders must be able to step on and off the SEGWAY platform (which is approximately 8" above the ground surface) without assistance.  Riders must be able to lean their bodies forward and back, and use both hands to move the SEGWAY steering handlebar laterally to the left, center, and right.  We request that all riders have a field of vision that's good enough to observe terrain obstacles, pedestrians, and other vehicles. All riders must have adequate hearing in order to perceive audible instructions and warnings from our SEGWAY Ride Coaches.  Please note that the SEGWAY PT has not been designed, tested, or approved as a medical device, as such, only able-bodied riders will be permitted to take a Segway tour.
